One story that has touched the hearts and changed the minds of so many is that of Clarabelle and her long-awaited love. After years of having her babies taken away shortly after birth, so her milk could be harvested for human consumption, Clarabelle and friend Daphne arrived at Edgar’s Mission with their bellies already swelling from their growing calves.
We would never have dreamt of taking Clarabelle’s baby away, but after her precious treasure was born the scars of her previous life became apparent when Clarabelle hid her in the forest at the back of her paddock. The bond between mother and baby is unmistakable, Clarabelle still nurtures and dotes on her grown baby – who will never be taken away from her. Read their full story and watch our “Finding Valentine” video.
These fine and delicate pendants are a tribute to the bond between a mother and her child – one of the purest forms of love. We hope you will share Clarabelle’s story and make it a part of your own; a beautiful gift for mother’s or a keepsake of your own to wear close to your heart.
